This project is built on land gifted by the government, serving members of the Sidojiwe Housing Cooperative. ShelterSol constructed 150 homes under this project, and issued housing loans to clients to finance their purchase. The homes are situated on plots distributed across the Cowdray Park development in Bulawayo and are all equipped with water, sanitation and energy.
ShelterSol offered both a complete house design and an incremental design, where one side of the home is constructed, with the other to be completed at a later date as household finances improved, after the initial loan has been repaid.
