Navigating Change: Updates to the Board

After over five years of exceptional service to Reall, Chris Loughlin is stepping down from his role as Chair of the Board. Chris has been a dedicated and inspirational leader, with a deep commitment to green affordable housing solutions. Chris used his visit to Kenya to help sharpen Reall’s strategic approach, such as how to embed Reall’s innovations into public policy.

Chris has steered Reall with resilience and grace, navigating through the complexities of Covid19 and ensuring its continued success. When Chris joined Reall he was a FTSE100 CEO for a water infrastructure company. He has since stepped down from that role to focus on a mix of Non-Executive roles (and supporting Sheffield United football club). His contributions to the board have been invaluable and he will be dearly missed. The organisation is hugely grateful to Chris for his outstanding contributions and wishes him the best in his future endeavours.

We are pleased that Steve Troop, an ex-international banker who has visited numerous Reall country operations, will be the Interim Chair while a full recruitment process is conducted over the coming months.

The Board remains robust with high calibre diverse colleagues based across four continents. More details are available here.
