This project’s housing is built on land gifted by the government and serves members of housing cooperatives. ShelterSol constructed 50 homes under this project, and issued housing loans to clients to finance their purchase. Homes are situated across various locations in Masvingo and are all equipped with water, sanitation and energy.
ShelterSol offered both a complete house design and an incremental design, where one side of the home is constructed, with the other left to be completed at a later date once the homeowner’s finances improve, after the initial loan has been repaid.
