This housing project targeted members of the Payatas Scavengers Homeowners Association, Inc. (PSHAI) of Barangay, San Isidro. PSHAI is one of the very first urban poor organisations established in Barangay Payatas, Quezon City, the site of the largest dumpsite in the region.

The project involved the construction of 19 homes and further site development, which included the clearing and concreting of roads, pathways and drainage lines. The homes are built to allow the option to extend in the future, as fortunes improve. This project provided PSHAI members security of tenure and access to essential basic services. They were able to purchase the new homes through the provision of micro finance loans that were provided to clients as part of the project.
