Reall and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Kenya.
The collaboration will involve knowledge sharing and research to tackle the issue of affordable housing and slum upgrading. Together we will push for policy change and political commitment to the global housing challenge. The collaboration looks to improve the living conditions of vulnerable people in the bottom 40% of the income pyramid.
Chris Loughin, Reall’s new Chairman of the Board, said: This is my first duty at Reall and I’m delighted to sign this Memorandum of Understanding with UN-Habitat. This collaboration will allow us to share our expertise and know-how on innovative housing models that unlock the political will, capital investment and end-user finance needed for hard-working families to secure their own homes.
