Reall’s Policies

Reall’s Policies

Reall, a Registered Charity in England and Wales (1017255) and Scotland (SC041976) and a Company Limited by Guarantee No. (2713841), has a number of policies in place to protect the communities we work with, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to all practices.

Read the policy statements below or request copies of our full policies.

Corruption statement

Reall’s Global Anti-Corruption Policy applies to all Reall’s trustees, board members, employees, agents, suppliers, business partners and any other third parties connected or affiliated with Reall. Reall’s Global Anti-Corruption Policy complies with all laws, rules and regulations governing anti-bribery and anti-corruption, in all countries where Reall and its partners operate.

Please report any suspicions of fraud or corruption to concern@reall.net

Safeguarding Statement

Reall is committed to preventing any type of unwanted behaviour at work including sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse, and committed to promoting the welfare of children, young people, adults and clients with whom Reall engages. Reall expects all staff to share this commitment through our code of conduct. All current and new post holders undertake the appropriate level of training and are responsible for ensuring that they understand and work within the safeguarding policies of the organisation.

Please report any safeguarding concerns around the sexual harassment, exploitation or abuse of children or adults at risk of harm to safeguarding@reall.net

Environment Protection Statement

Reall recognises the impacts our mission, objectives and activities make on the environment. We also recognise the threat of climate change to prosperity, social justice, and quality of life. We are therefore committed to managing and mitigating our environmental impact and promoting adaptation by maximising the resilience of our residential developments.

Reall’s recent pledge to United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Race To Zero Campaign commits to being carbon neutral by 2030.

Gender Equality Statement

Reall’s Gender Policy represents Reall’s commitment to take a cohesive and coordinated approach to gender equality. The Policy defines Reall’s explicit intention to champion gender equality and the principles expressed in international agreements. The Policy includes core principles and commitments against which all parts of Reall will be held accountable. These are consistent with other organisational and programmatic standards.

Modern Slavery Statement

At Reall, we believe that everyone has the right to live their lives free from exploitation and realise all human rights. Reall does not tolerate anyone associated with the delivery of its work carrying out any form of modern slavery or human trafficking. This includes employees, partners, volunteers, suppliers, consultants, contractors, or any other representatives.

Whistleblowing Statement

Reall is committed to good practice and wishes to ensure high standards in this area. It is recognised that the decision to report a concern can be a difficult one to make, not least because of the fear of reprisal from those responsible for the malpractice. Reall will do what it lawfully can to protect staff when a genuine concern is raised and will treat as a disciplinary offence any action by a colleague to discourage action or to victimise or criticise a whistle-blower after a concern has been expressed.
